These changes are for the better, as it is no longer necessary to have someone help with certain procedures — getting your e.firma is one of them.
The e.firma is a completely free procedure that allows you to make updates, transactions, and track your situation with the tax authority (SAT).
This process is carried out after activating your RFC (Federal Taxpayer Registry), as the e.firma allows you to make changes and access your platform to review any modifications you make.
- Is it mandatory?
This procedure follows the RFC activation and is governed by the Federal Tax Code. Advanced Electronic Signature Law, ART 17-D, and it is created by appointment, requested in advance through the SAT platform.
