Everyday Agile Methodologies

Everyday Agile Methodologies

Companies that incorporate new, more dynamic work models increase their ability to respond to changes and unforeseen situations, gaining flexibility and speed while staying in the race for innovation. The common thread of work methodologies is that all of them serve to standardize, structure, and organize processes, shortening teams' learning curve.

By approaching all projects from a consistent perspective, a continuous improvement process emerges that makes it possible to identify successes and learn from mistakes. In other words, methodologies are tools that make teams more efficient the more they are used.

  • AGILE METHODOLOGIES

Agile methodologies adapt the way of working to the conditions of the project, achieving flexibility and speed in response. Although they originated in the field of software development, they can be applied in any company and sector. Companies that use agile methodologies achieve 30% more profit than those that continue to rely on traditional methods.

Depending on the nature of the project and the company's level of maturity in using Agile, it is advisable to use one framework or another. The most common ones are:

  • Scrum: divides the project into small blocks (sprints), which are continuously planned and reviewed.
  • Kanban: uses visual techniques to quickly and easily check the status of each task.
  • XP (Extreme Programming): divides the project into phases, and in each one performs a complete cycle of analysis, design, development, and testing.
