At the beginning of June, cryptocurrencies dropped significantly. But instead of recovering slowly, are they falling again?
Cryptocurrencies are a digital payment system that has been discussed before here at D3sconocidos — both their highs and their lows.
Currently, their value has surpassed levels of collapse never seen before. This is due to a lack of sustained investment and the fear generated by the drop at the beginning of June of this year (2022).
To put this in context, here are the percentage drops for Ethereum and BTC:
- Ethereum: -2.21%
- BTC: -1.04%
And they continue to fall — by small percentages, but ones that are genuinely impactful.

- Investment risks as cryptocurrencies fall?
In any type of investment there is risk. So, why are cryptocurrencies falling again?
The decline was primarily triggered by a lack of sustained investment in digital banking — something that becomes very high-risk when many high-profile investors suddenly stop buying or investing in it.
“Since the beginning of this year, many had been warning about the arrival of dark clouds on the horizon.”
If you are an investor, the most advisable course of action is not to panic and to have backup investments in other assets to keep generating income and avoid falling into a crisis.
